A few of my favorite things

This weeks challenge for Heart2Heart is A Few of My Favorite Things. I couldn't decide which few things I wanted to create with because I just love so many things out of the Fall catalog! With that being said, here are just a few, well maybe a little more than a few favorite things.

I made this card to send to my parents for their 32nd wedding anniversary. Whenever there is a challenge, I love to be able to apply it to something that I am working on to send to my loved ones.
The materials I used to create this card are all CTMH products and can be found Here .
I used:
-Sarita paper packet
-champagne and saddle cardstock
-cranberry, chocolate and outdoor denim ink
-Trinkets wood shapes
-Base & Bling floral accents
-Love Life Everyday Life stamp set

Hope that you will head over to the H2H blog and see other beautiful projects this week. You should considering joining in! It is so much fun!

A little Birthday Gift

For this weeks challenge on the Heart2Heart blog, I wanted to make something other than a card. Our challenge was Brown Paper Packages Tied With String. So I made just that.

When you take the lid off of the gift box, the sides will fall flat and there is a gift card holder in the center. It is a very fun way to give a gift. All products used are from CTMH.
-kraft cardstock
-honey cardstock
-Dreampop paper for the lid
-lagoon, honey, cotton candy and gypsy ink
-You Are My Happy stamp set
-Love Life Everyday Life stamp set
-white daisy twine from the neutral assortment
-pink glitter gems

Hope you will go over to the H2H blog and see what others have created for this challenge.
Thanks for stopping by!

Make A Scene for H2H

It feels good to back in the blogging world!! This summer has been crazy busy for us, but loving every moment.
I haven't been able to participate in any of the challenges recently, but I am in on this one :)
The challenge at Heart2Heart this week is Make a Scene, which is left up to our interpretation and imagination. I put together a card that I think will work great for a friends birthday coming up.

This was a super fun summery sky scene that I came up with, using all CTMH products.
Here is the list:
-Surfs Up paper packet
-Cricut Artiste (images on page 70)
-Birthday stamp set that coordinates with the cartridge
-liquid glass
-outdoor denim ink
-Silver shimmer trim

Be sure to check out the H2H blog for other inspiring and fun projects. Thanks for visiting my blog, be sure to leave me a comment! :)

Lets Go Tropical

I decide to do a little something different this time. I was visiting the Mojo Monday Blog and I decided to give one of the layouts a try. This was the layout this week.

This got me motivated to work on the challenge that was going on at H2H. The challenge is to create something tropical. Here is what I made to share with all of you.

To create this card I used the following products (all CTMH  unless noted) :
  • Surf's Up paper packet
  • stamp set included in the Surf's Up Workshop on the Go
  • Dream Pop paper packet(no longer available)
  • Cricut Artiste
  • Chocolate, Outdoor Denim and Sunset stamp pads
  • Adhesive Gems
  • Burlap trim(Michaels)
Be sure to check out H2H and Mojo Monday to see all the other creative ladies work. It is very inspirational and motivating.

Jenna's Wedding Invitations

Just wanted to share the latest wedding invitations that I had the pleasure of creating for the bride to be. All my invitations are hand made and were created specifically for the bride.

I wanted to share these invitations as an introduction to what it means to be home made.  The technique used for these flowers was one I had learned a long time ago. To help make these flowers really stand out and still compliment the shimmer pocket design, I chose a deeper color lilac to ink the edges of the petals.

After cutting and inking each petal for the flowers, each petal was folded to create 120 flowers. To top them off, I added some bling to make them just for Jenna. With a few steps in between, the final outcome was Jenna's wedding invitations.
